The Family History Widow by Jim Hoskins

My Husband is gone, no Longer around The grass needs mowing & he's nowhere to be found ! The sink needs fixen & the house needs some paint. So many Honeydoos I think I will faint ! No he hasn't passed on and he isn't dead He's off with his relatives who have gone on ahead ! He's studying their pasts, off in his own little room, And if I don't get some attention he'll be with them soon ! So when I'm not sure where he is. It's never a Mystery ! He's off working on his Family History !

The Words She Wrote by Jim Hoskins

My Grandmother came for a visit today. She told of a time that was far away. She told of her children, whom she loved so dear. She told of her garden, and the streams that were near. She told of the wild flowers that grew all around; Of the birds and the peace, and the joy she had found. Her life wasn’t easy, but her words seemed to say; She was happy with the trials that were sent towards her way. Her words were like candy to a very small child. I listened to each one and we visited for a while. I wished we had met but she has long passed away. But through the things that she wrote we visited today.

Well I guess my New Year's resolution should have been to write on my blog. However I was introduced to Facebook and I just can't keep up with both. So I guess we will see if I ever get back into this more later. I do also like to keep my photo link up on my main web page. Between the web pages and everything I could become a vegetable in front of my computer. But my honey do list would never get done. With all the nice weather lately I'll probaly be working on that. So for Now just a big Utah Howdy to one and all.

I found this picture today of my Grandma Eva on Myfamily.com posted by Robert Sollars. My Uncle Harold varified it ! I didn't even know she played the guitar. Robert colorized it !
